Darko Trifunović (Serbian: Дарко Трифуновић) is a lawyer and professor at the Faculty of Security Studies of the University of Belgrade. He formerly worked as a diplomat for the foreign ministry of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After leaving the diplomatic service in controversial circumstances, he authored a widely criticised report for the Republika Srpska (Bosnian Serb) government which denied that there had been a massacre at Srebrenica during the Bosnian War. He moved on to his current position at the University of Belgrade, where he has specialised in the study of Islamic terrorism.

The Republika Srpska Srebrenica Report which denies the Srebrenica Genocide can be found here: http://www.slobodan-milosevic.org/documents/srebrenica.pdf

It’s author is Darko Trifunovic. He has, since he was stripped of Bosnian citizenship, become a ”terrorism expert” and is a favorite among the press in Serbia and Republika Srpka.

There are a lot of articles on the web about Trifunovic, we suggest: http://srebrenica-genocide.blogspot.com/2007/12/darko-trifunovic-srebrenica-genocide.html

Trifunovic’s ”investigative” reports most of which do not have footnotes can be found on ”anti-terrorism” websites and Serb, Greek and some Western Islamophobic websites.

Unfortunately, some Western intelligence and security institutions have taken Trifunovic’s claims seriously.(http://www.gfbv.de/pressemit.php?id=1173)
